I watched these two fellas near the town of Waterton in Canada. Initially, I was looking for some mountain goats that were in the area. The night before, I was eating at the Princes of Wales hotel looking out over Waterton Lake, and some guests overheard me asking the waitress where I might find some mountain goats. They quickly responded that there were some just outside of town in a small meadow. While this sounded peculiar, I said thank you and found exactly where I needed to go. The next morning I headed out to the spot and found nothing. I looked where the waitress told me to go and found nothing. I went back to the meadow and found these four bighorn sheep. I believe the guests thought these were mountain goats. While these aren't mountain goats, I was thrilled to find these guys. I got several good shots of this one ram in the foreground. He didn't seem to mind me walking around him to get the angles I needed to get the shots I wanted. After a while, I sat down in the meadow and enjoyed the view of the valley with them.
