A Mouse? Nah, It's a Pika! My specialty isn't rodents, but I'd say this critter is in the same family, but it's incredibly cute. Pikas can be found out west in the boulder fields of the Rocky Mountains. They talk to each other in a high-pitched eeeeeeeeek! And chatter they do. It's hard to watch just one, because their always moving. The few I was watching were preparing for winter. I'd see them carrying a clump of grass, and they'd run to their den, and then back out to get some more grass. I could have sat there and watched them all day, but there were still mountains and wildlife to capture on film.
