Of all my trips, Denali was a place I most feared going to. Not because of grizzlies, but because of the lack of having transportation. In Denali, you park your car, and have to ride the bus... or hike. So, with pack in hand, in the bus I went. You may get off at any time, which I did for finding campsites, or just to hike a while. There are also no trails in Denali.. you make your own! On the ride to my first stop, we spotted a female (cow) moose. The drivers will always pull over and shut off the bus. Now, I can’t wait to get back.
