The trip of a lifetime...Alaska! My travels had brought me to Homer Alaska, where I boarded a floatplane to fly to Geographic Harbor, on the coast of Katmai N.P. The flight in itself was fun, with the spotting of many gray whales heading south, and the beautiful mountains of Katmai. After landing and heading ashore, we sat and watched as about 11 grizzlies fished in the river in front of us. As well, we saw golden & bald eagles and foxes along the shore hunting for salmon.
