My first day on Sanibel Island, I drove out to the "Ding" Darling Wildlife Refuge. Not knowing what all I was going to see, I started the one way drive through the park. I saw Herons, Pelicans, Egrets, & multitudes of small birds, and about 3/4 of the way through saw an osprey sitting on this fence post. I didn’t stop and about 1/4 mile down the road, I thought to myself....."This can’t be normal to see an osprey that close", so I backed up that 1/4 mile. I snapped off about 2 rolls of this osprey eating his meal.
