Egret in Morning Light

I headed down to Florida in January to do some six Art Festivals. And rather than travel back up to TN every weekend, I just stayed there. The place I enjoyed the most was Sanibel Island, and more exactly, the J.N. "Ding" Darling Refuge. Shorebirds have come to FL for the winter (a lot of older folks do that to!), and one safe haven for them is this refuge. During low-tide, thousands of birds fill the waterways. Egret, Herons, Pelicans, Roseatte Spoonbills, and Ospreys are all in easy sight.
