Fox on the Snow

Today I'm in Yellowstone National Park in northwest Wyoming. Spring is just making it's way to Yellowstone the second week of June. Higher on the mountains however, the snowpack very present. The road was cut through the snow here where the snow measured about 4-5 feet thick. I drove up to this fella as he was chasing a small mole. I jumped out of the car and set up for the shot. Here he is looking for the mole which probably dove into a hole. He gave up a few seconds later and headed down the mountainside. This trip was pretty complete as I spotted moose, pronghorn, coyotes, the just reintroduced grey wolves, grizzly bears, black bears, a badger, plenty of elk & bison, and now a fox.
