Quiet Morning on Reflection Lake A few ideas stick out in my mind of things I’d like to be able to see. One is to be ABLE to see Mt Rainier (at 14400 feet, many days it’s covered by clouds). The next thing was to able to catch a reflection in one of the many lakes that surround the mountain. I picked late July to see Washington State. In the high ranges of the Cascades, the wildflowers of WA are just now starting to bloom. Flowers such as lupine, Indian paintbrush, and avalanche lilies cover the ground in large fields. Weather conditions had to be just right for this shot, and three days later... I got it.
