There are certain places to be for sunset, and some for sunrise. Most of Bryce Canyon is on display at sunrise. I made my way down the trail before the sun came up to set up. I knew just where I wanted to be when the first rays of light hit the hoodoos of Bryce. As the suns light came up over the ridge, the rays of light lit the formations of rock in a spectacular display. I was sharing the spot with another photographer who had the same idea on where to be. I later met up with him in three other national parks in Utah and Arizona, all by coincidence!
