In the distance can be seen Mt Edith Cavell, and Angel Glacier which sits just below its ridgeline. That’s the headwaters of Cavell Lake seen here. I had hiked up by the glacier earlier that morning, and now I was hiking down a trail to catch a shot of the lake. I stopped to speak with a couple of hikers who told me it wasn’t worth my time to hike further. I stepped right back on the trail and found the lake which I started to hike around, and then saw the perfect spot for a shot.... about 25 feet into the cold lake.....as seen here!
