The Glorious Yosemite
Falls We made this trip to Yosemite National Park in springtime, when the waterfalls where gushing with their winter snow melt. The falls are at their peak in May and June and are all but dried up come August. You can see, and hear, Yosemite Falls from various places around Yosemite Valley. It is one of the world's tallest, and is actually made up of three separate falls: Upper Yosemite Fall (1,430 feet), the middle cascades (675 feet), and Lower Yosemite Fall (320 feet). We spent our lunch time each day of our visit in a little meadow where we could enjoy the view of both the falls and Half Dome.
