I spent my first January as a full-time photographer in Florida. On weekends I’d have scheduled an outdoor art show, and during the week, I’d venture out into wherever I could find wildlife or shorebirds. I spent one week in Sebastian Inlet, one of the few places where the saltwater & fresh water waterways meet on Florida’s east coast. Here I found woodstorks, pelicans, anhingas, cormorants, and egrets. And lots and lots of raccoons! But looking west each night, a beautiful sunset would complete each day.
