I had just finished watching a beautiful sunset, my brother and I headed from the Garden Wall back east towards St Mary. We had just rounded the mountain when we saw the suns afterglow. A beautiful pink hue filled the sky. I parked the car long side the road and scrambled to set up for a wonderful shot. Sometimes the afterglow can be even more gorgeous than the sunset itself. But it only last for a couple minutes, so you must be fast and in ready to shoot. I didn’t use any filters for this shot. It’s just as it appeared that night!
