The "Bud" Ogle Farm is located just outside Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Members of the family that lived here before the creation of the park still live in Gatlinburg. The name "Ogle" is seen all over town. This is a large home by the standards of the day. The house consist of two rooms. One considered the kitchen, the other the sleeping area. The barn is located right behind me, and a tub mill and gardens are located at the stream that runs about 100 yards away. You can see the remainders of the apple orchard along the road that once helped feed the family. All the necessities of a generation living in such a remote, but beautiful area.
