Summer in the Great Smoky Mountains. Cades Cove is full of life, from deer, to the thousands of spiders that make their home each morning. I was watching a buck in the field this day. I set up up my telephoto lens on my tripod and headed towards the fence when I noticed this web. Of course I’ve got a great shot of a web already, but now I could include a buck, and a backdrop of mountains, a spider, along with the web itself. A small collection of what makes the Great Smoky Mountains and Cades Cove a very special place.
