The "Bud" Ogle Farm is located just outside Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Members of the family that lived here before the creation of the park still live in Gatlinburg. The name "Ogle" is seen all over town. This is a large home by the standards of the day. The house consist of two rooms. One considered the kitchen, the other the sleeping area. You can see the water flume that fed "running" water right down the porch. The barn is located right behind me, and a tub mill is located at the stream that runs about 100 yards away. You can see the remainders of the apple orchard that once helped feed the family along with the garden. All the necessities of a generation living in such a remote, but beautiful area.
