Here in Cades Cove is the John Oliver cabin. This is the first cabin along the scenic loop that you drive by. It sits back off the road about a 1/4 mile. This morning I got up before sunrise and made my way to Cades Cove to be there right when the gate opened. I was the first one there today, and I made my way to the cabin. As I was walking up to the home, I was greeted by 5 small deer feeding right in front of the house. I got some shots of them, and then set up for this shot, but the deer quickly ran off as others approached. It was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful while it lasted!
