This is Spruce Flat Falls. A small waterfall located near Tremont. Because of floods in 1994, this area has been inaccessible for the past couple of years. Cascades & Waterfalls are one of my favorite things to find, and take photographs of. I'm always going a little off the beaten path to find a waterfall, even driving a few hours away to see waters flow. This particular day, the sun was about to set for the evening, so I got some light ( the tree cover is very thick ) coming over my shoulder, and it was lighting just the right parts of the scene. A very peaceful place in the Smokies.
