This shot was taken in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I got up around 5:00 in the morning to get some shots of the daphodils in Cades Cove. As I'm driving into Cades Cove, a fog is hanging low in the valley. The sun has just risen, and is trying to penetrate the haze which will disappears soon. I had just got finished taking a shot of dew on a spider web, and made my way into the field where I set up for this shot. The haze in the background makes this a great photograph. Any other time wouldn't have had the effect that I captured in this shot!
