I started my trip to New England with a trip to Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park. I had visited Maine once before and regretted not going to Acadia. But made it back and I was camping at the Seawall Campground near this lighthouse. I went out to visit the day before and determined that the best light was going to be at sunrise. And so with a aching back (this tent thing is getting old!), I awoke and set myself up about 15 minutes before sunrise. And what a beautiful sunrise we had! 30 minutes later, the sun disappeared into an overcast sky for a day of rain.
